24 Don’t you realize that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize? So run to win! 25 All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize. 26 So I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing. 27 I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should.
- 1 Corinthians 9
We all have weaknesses, but some are different from others, and not of all us share the same weakness. But to acknowledge our weaknesses is a way of being humble. Humility ushers others to Christ. If we present to the world that we are strong enough and that is why we declare GOD in our lives, how can the weak relate to us? How will they even share their burdens if they will feel condemned that they are not strong enough like us who follow the Lord. Everyone of us are weak and so to bring others to Yeshua, we need to find common ground with the people we are praying for and telling about GOD.
Having faith is like running in a race. Although we are not competing against others, it is a race where when we help others to win, we win the race even more. Everything we do should be connected to GOD and related to GOD. Are we doing things intentionally for the glory of GOD or just for the sake of doing? There are greater harvest when we sow intentionally in GOD's Kingdom for those who do everything purposefully. Why are we doing what we are doing? Is it for the purpose of bringing souls to salvation in Christ or just for the sake of complying with what should be done. We win the race when we don't do things just for ourselves but for the love of GOD and the love of others.
