How easy it is for anyone to forget what GOD has done for them. Israel is one that has demonstrated that it is usual for anyone to forget where they have come from especially when they are enjoying the riches of life and fill of the land. When GOD decides to bless, it is of utter importance to always remember that without GOD we can't ever enjoy great blessings. But People become proud thinking they are invincible when they are in a high place. They think that whatever they do is acceptable. But when punishment from Heaven strikes us because of wrong doing, then it comes to remembrance that life is not all about our pleasure but life is to please GOD first of all.
GOD's love is like a ranging fire. His love is as passionate as a husband towards his newly wedded bride. He is jealous for our love, jealous for our worship. Man is created to worship, and if it is not GOD we are worshipping then it must be something else, it could be ourselves or someone else. Let us always remember where we were before, where our ancestors where before we are here enjoying freely the presence and favor of Almighty GOD. Take time to repent of any sin each day, it is better to be safe than to experience the blazing anger fire of GOD, let us seek to offer a sacrifice of worship and satisfy the passionate love of GOD. How wonderful it is to know that there is such love that exists, the blazing fire passionate love of GOD towards His created beings.
