neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord.
9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.
10 As the rain and the snow come down from heaven,
and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish,
so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,
11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
Isaiah 55
There are things that we might question GOD for that has happened in our lives. There are things that HE says HE will do but we find it hard to believe because it is too difficult to happen. But GOD says to us humans, we cannot fathom HIS ways because HIS ways are far higher than ours. We cannot measure or begin to think similarly to GOD because our minds just can't picture what HE will do and how HE will do it.
But when the LORD promises to us something, we should never doubt or even think of how HE will do it. We can only trust HIM to do it because without our faith in HIM, HE cannot work in us and through us. We have to believe that HE will deliver what HE said. If the rains cause the earth to bloom and plants to grow, that is how GOD's word is to our lives. HIS word will cause things to happen, great things! No matter how hard or impossible, with GOD everything is possible!
