Seekers Finders...

5 The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6 He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.7 Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”
8 So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. 9 Suddenly Jesus met them.“Greetings,” he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. 10 Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.”

- Matthew 28

Women were the first ones to go to the tomb and just be with the physical body of Jesus. Women are more emotional than men and it is no wonder why it was the women who were the first ones to find out that Yeshua had already resurrected because they decided to visit the tomb of Yeshua. Did they expect to see an Angel? no, they just wanted to be near where they have placed Him. But getting there, they were greeted by an Angel telling them that the one they are seeking for is not there and that He has risen from the dead and will meet His disciples in Galilee. In spite of the angel telling them not to be afraid, they went away scared but they were so happy to hear such great news and suddenly HE was right in front of them and their initial reaction was to worship.

Usually when GOD sends His messengers to tell His people, He will confirm it through His word if that message is truly from Him. But these women must have been so special to Yeshua because He Himself appeared before them confirming what the Angel had spoken earlier. It would have been such a beautiful experience to meet the One you have been seeking for personally, just when you are hurrying to do His instructions. But we cannot find something we are not seeking for in the first place. Are you still seeking Yeshua even on ordinary days? In hard times, we usually do but it doesn't have to be only when it's hard. Seeker's finders, finders keepers, keepers winners....
