22 Rebuke some who are disputing; 23 save others, snatching them out of the fire; and to yet others, show mercy, but with fear, hating even the clothes stained by their vices.
Jude 1:20-23
It is important to feed our Spirit everyday so we can grow and build ourselves in the most holy faith. We do so by reading GOD's holy word and praying in union with the Holy Spirit. How do we do so? We need to be quick to listen and be still in HIS presence. When we spend time in praying, we don't just tell GOD our side because prayer is a two way communication, it is not just one way. We talk to GOD through prayers but GOD also talks to us when we take time to listen and read His word. We have to keep ourselves in GOD's will, in His grace and in His love so that when He comes back to us, we are found waiting and depending on Him to lead us to eternal life with Him. We can't have faith on our own, we need GOD all the time.
We need to be faithful with our bretheren, we can't just leave them in their sin when we know that they should be rebuked. When we truly love GOD, it is impossible not to love others. When we show our love for others especially those who are in the path to destruction, our corrections will not be resented but will be heeded. We need to show mercy to those who are perishing by praying for them and loving them but despising the sin that has entangled them. Building up our faith will not only benefit ourselves but our faith will greatly bless others around us that are needing our prayings, love and mercy.
