- Romans 13:8-10
It's hard not to owe something to someone. We sometimes owe money, sometimes we owe help, favor and such. But the Bible says to make it a point, if it's possible not to owe to anyone anything, then that is the best place to be, debtless. But the one thing we do owe to everyone around is love. We owe them our love because this is GOD's great command to us. Love should be our greatest goal and when we have love and love our fellowmen, we obey whatever GOD has commanded in HIS word. True love is hard to do, especially when it is towards the unlovable. But to love the unlovable and loving our enemy is something only GOD's love in us could enable us to do.
Love is beautiful to those who love us back, but it could be painful to those that do not care or love or even hate us. But no matter how hard, this is GOD's command that everyone of us should follow. How do we love someone when we need love the most? We come to GOD, HE has all the love in the Universe for us. In fact, it is because of His great love that He created humanity, He wanted to love His created beings. We fill ourselves with GOD's love when we spend time with GOD through reading His word, worship, and being in His presence. We can always take GOD with us whenever we go, because He is everywhere anyway. GOD has also proven His deep love for us through His son Yeshua who died for us. When we have His love, we cannot hate others, we can not do wrong to others. When we are in GOD's love, there is nothing too hard that we can't ever do - this is the Power of Love - GOD's love.
