so he can show you his love and compassion.
For the Lord is a faithful God.
Blessed are those who wait for his help.
19 O people of Zion, who live in Jerusalem,
you will weep no more.
He will be gracious if you ask for help.
He will surely respond to the sound of your cries.

The LORD is patient towards His people and even when we go astray from HIS ways and hurt Him, HE will wait for us to return to HIM. HE never forces us to come Him when we are not ready. GOD waits for us until we realize ourselves that we are nothing and helpless without HIM. HE waits for us to show us His love and compassion. We couldn't appreciate GOD's love for us when we don't realize how much we need it. We usually take for granted GOD's love when it is always there for us. But when we go our way and realize how much need we have for HIS love, we realize how important HIS love and compassion is and our hearts overflow with thankfulness because He is so gentle and patient with us.
We have to be careful where we put our trust, where we seek our help. Do we ask help from people? When we are in trouble who do we first call for help? Do we depend on our friends? our family? His word says Blessed are those who wait for GOD's help, for GOD is gracious to us when we cry out to Him for help. For HE is such a merciful GOD, His heart is always towards us. Like the voice of a crying baby to their mother is our cries of help towards GOD. He will surely respond to our cries. Do you think we are precious to GOD? the Bible says even if our own father or mother forsake us, He never will!
