For us - April 18, 2014

Scripture: Psalm 6-8

4 Return, O Lord, and rescue me. Save me because of your unfailing love.
5 For the dead do not remember you. Who can praise you from the grave? - Psalm 6
9 End the evil of those who are wicked, and defend the righteous.
For you look deep within the mind and heart, O righteous God.
10 God is my shield, saving those whose hearts are true and right.
17 I will thank the Lord because he is just; I will sing praise to the name of the LordMost High. - Psalm 7
3 When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers— the moon and the stars you set in place—
4 what are mere mortals that you should think about them, human beings that you should care for them?
5 Yet you made them only a little lower than God and crowned them with glory and honor.
- Psalm 8

Message:
The Lord's faithfulness and goodness is constant, His justice and righteousness can be trusted.

Observation/Promise:
We can rely on the faithfulness of GOD in our lives, because He is a good GOD, He never fails to be good to those that are righteous and pure in their hearts. Those who do not plan evil and do evil. We cannot of course rely on our own good works to save us, but GOD sees those that truly fear Him and try to please Him, even when they are not always successful in doing so. His mercies are beyond our greatest mistakes, as long as we are relying upon GOD and trusting in Him, He will always be for us not against us. And no matter what bad things we may go through, He has a purpose and reason that is only for the result of our good. GOD is so good, He is always working out the best for us and in us.

Application/Command:
Stay with GOD, stay faithful and true to the only One who deserves all the loyalty and worship. Meditate on GOD's goodness, when in troubles, remember that He is faithful. When in doubt, hold on to His promises. When everything is well, praise HIM. Fear the Lord and trust only His name, do not trust in people, they will always fail. GOD wants you to trust in Him alone and to have that unique and personal relationship with you that no one else in this world could ever have with you.
