“The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior;
3 my God is my rock, in whom I find protection.
He is my shield, the power that saves me,
and my place of safety.
He is my refuge, my savior, the one who saves me from violence.
33 God is my strong fortress,
and he makes my way perfect.
34 He makes me as surefooted as a deer,
enabling me to stand on mountain heights.

The LORD is who He is to anyone who seeks Him, who relies on Him, who trusts in Him. But we need to declare who He is in our lives, speak about His goodness in our mouths, until our hearts perceive His goodness and faithfulness. Sometimes it is easy to be discouraged about things going on in our lives. Things that are not going as we planned, we are disappointed, we have not reached our goals, we fail in what we try to do. But even when we are, do we really need to focus on ourselves and all our failures? When we can focus on the greatness and perfection of GOD. When we tend to always think about how we have failed, it will really bring us low feeling even more depressed.
But when we think about the LORD, how great HE is, how HE has saved us, how He has carried us through, we could have been in a worse position, we could have been in our lowest state, but GOD holds our situation and He has always rescued us from our ourselves. He has always been faithful to save. Let us declare who He is, for HE is completely beautiful and He is entirely loving and caring towards us. Do not think about your failures, think about what GOD can do and is doing through you. Have faith and believe that HE has a plan, a glorious destiny for you. Think about the LORD. That is why the GOD has commanded us to meditate on His laws, His words, who He is.
