5 When they entered the tomb, they saw a young man clothed in a white robe sitting on the right side. The women were shocked, 6 but the angel said, “Don’t be alarmed. You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead! Look, this is where they laid his body. 7 Now go and tell his disciples, including Peter, that Jesus is going ahead of you to Galilee. You will see him there, just as he told you before he died.”
- Mark 16
The women who had loved Jesus and had been following Him around town when He was alive was faithful to Him even in death. They wanted to be close to Him as soon as they are able to (after the day of rest) and went to His tomb to anoint Him with burial spices. They were even concerned with how they were going to do it but what a lovely surprise awaited them when they got to the tomb. Their main concern was rolling the stone away from the tomb, since they were all women, who would be able to have such strength to do so? But when they got there they were totally surprised that GOD had already taken cared of their main concern and that an Angel had been waiting for them giving them a message that I'm sure they never would have even imagined. But their hearts became alive and so full, so overwhelmed that their wildest hopes had just become a reality.
It's just the same with ministry. Our first ministry is our hearts before the LORD. This should be our priority, we minister unto GOD first and then we minister to others out of the overflow of our hearts. We may have many concerns when we come before GOD but when we seek Him in the secret places whole heartedly we will not be disappointed because when HE meets us, we will find Him already waiting for us. Surprising us with His presence and love, we will find that our greatest concerns are already taken cared of. GOD's promises for us are already a yes and amen and it is finished. Whatever concerns you may have as you come before Him, be rest assured that GOD has already provided a solution for these things because HE is more concerned for you than you are for yourself and whatever HE has promised you, consider it finished, it is already done! So come and lay your heart before GOD and HE will honor you with His love and things you can't even dare to ask or imagine.
