Step out in Faith

20 “See, I am sending an angel before you to protect you on your journey and lead you safely to the place I have prepared for you. 21 Pay close attention to him, and obey his instructions. Do not rebel against him, for he is my representative, and he will not forgive your rebellion. 22 But if you are careful to obey him, following all my instructions, then I will be an enemy to your enemies, and I will oppose those who oppose you. 23 For my angel will go before you and bring you into the land of the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Canaanites, Hivites, and Jebusites, so you may live there. And I will destroy them completely. 24 You must not worship the gods of these nations or serve them in any way or imitate their evil practices. Instead, you must utterly destroy them and smash their sacred pillars.
25 “You must serve only the Lord your God. If you do, I will bless you with food and water, and I will protect you from illness. 26 There will be no miscarriages or infertility in your land, and I will give you long, full lives.

-Exodus 23

When GOD sends you to a place He wants you to go for a specific purpose, He provides everything that you need to be able to survive. He sends an angel to go before you and protect you as you go your way, to lead you safely to the place He has prepared. This is how faithful GOD is. He prepares the way before us, but we are to listen to the Angel he has assigned to us. And to listen closely to what the Angel is instructing us. We don't literally see an Angel because angels may come in the form of humans, people that watch over us like protectors and soul keepers. They are accountable to GOD for us. Most of the time that angel is the Holy Spirit that will be leading us and instructing us what to do.

Is the LORD sending you somewhere? Has he been calling you to be there but you have been scared and frightened with the thought of leaving your place of comfort, your home? Do not let your fears paralyze you. Live in the fullness of GOD and walk by faith. Trusting Him is the only key to take on the journey He has called each of us to take. The LORD has promised great things, staying where you are is disobedience if you have been called by GOD to go some place else. You will miss out big time if you do not obey. Heed His voice and do whatever you can to start your journey. Take hold of GOD's hand and step out in faith.
