“Don’t let the wise boast in their wisdom,
or the powerful boast in their power,
or the rich boast in their riches.
24 But those who wish to boast should boast in this alone:
that they truly know me and understand that I am the Lord
who demonstrates unfailing love
and who brings justice and righteousness to the earth,
and that I delight in these things.

Where does the wisdom of the wise come from? or who even created wisdom in itself? 1 Corinthians 1:30 says God has united you with Christ Jesus. For our benefit God made him to be wisdom itself. Christ made us right with God; he made us pure and holy, and he freed us from sin. Yeshua is wisdom Himself! So if wisdom is GOD and all the power of the universe has come from GOD, why should anyone boast as if it came from them? If GOD has given you wisdom, power or riches, is that any reason for your heart to be puffed up and become proud?
But if we should boast, we can only boast in one thing, that we know the LORD. To know GOD is a lifetime process, there is so much to understand who He is, and how He loves is never failing. He never gives up on us until we completely shut off our hearts from Him. He is the great GOD who executes justice without anyone's consent and bring righteousness to this world of wickedness. That is who He is, His very heart and character enjoys doing the things He does. He loves without failing, He justifies whatever has been wronged and He is holy and righteous in all His ways. His ways are far different from Human ways that is why it takes forever to know who GOD is. For those who make it a point each day to seek, know and understand the LORD GOD, they will be amazed as they see HIM for who He is. True wisdom comes from this: the more you know and seek the Lord, the more you gain wisdom.
