Let GOD deal

22 “God, in his power, drags away the rich.
They may rise high, but they have no assurance of life.
23 They may be allowed to live in security,
but God is always watching them.
24 And though they are great now,
in a moment they will be gone like all others,
cut off like heads of grain.
25 Can anyone claim otherwise?
Who can prove me wrong?”
- Job 24

Have you been wronged by someone who has power over you? Are you tempted to be angry and be bitter towards the proud and wicked? Take comfort in the words of Job who was suffering terribly not from the wicked's doing to him, but from people who think he was wicked. His very own friends judged him for being godless because of what GOD has allowed him to go through, suffering, loss of wealth, sickness and shame. Job was saying that he might be suffering as if he was a wicked man but the suffering he had during that time is nothing compared to what GOD will do to evil men.

Cruel people may seem to be high and mighty now but GOD will someday drag them away. What is their assurance of a long and satisfying life? If GOD is the one who satisfies the human soul with good things and secures their hearts. The proud may be living in safety because of their riches that surround them, making it their wall of protection but GOD's eyes are always on them. GOD is giving them time to realize their faults and turn away from their wrong doing, but when their time of grace is up, their time of judgement will come. Their greatness will come to nothing when GOD acts up on punishment. So do not hold any grudge in your heart for the wicked who has wronged you, give your pain to GOD and let GOD deal with them in a way no human being could ever endure.
