Grateful Attitude

11 “When you crossed the Jordan River and came to Jericho, the men of Jericho fought against you, as did the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Girgashites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites. But I gave you victory over them. 12 And I sent terror ahead of you to drive out the two kings of the Amorites. It was not your swords or bows that brought you victory. 13 I gave you land you had not worked on, and I gave you towns you did not build—the towns where you are now living. I gave you vineyards and olive groves for food, though you did not plant them.
- Joshua 24:11-13

The provision of GOD is abundant and without lack. Israel experienced how great and good GOD is when they chose to walk in HIS ways and be faithful only to HIM. When Israel went out to fight their enemies, GOD was already ahead of them preparing their victory for them by sending terror to their enemies. Before Israel can conquer the lands that GOD has promised them, the LORD has already prepared the land for them making it fat, rich and wealthy for them to occupy and enjoy. This is how GOD gives to HIS children. When HE gives HE really lavishes HIS blessings on the ones HE loves.

GOD loves us all, but do we love HIM back? And even while we are not faithful, GOD will always be faithful to HIS promises. But wouldn't it be even better if we please GOD and love HIM because HE loves us? It is human nature to take for granted the things that we are blessed with and the giver of all the blessings. Never forget to be grateful for evereything you are blessed with and recognize the giver of these blessings. Even when you find reasons to complain about other things, always try to focus and think about the good things because this is GOD's will for you, to be grateful always. When you have this grateful attitude, you will never miss the blessings of GOD and you'll be able to enjoy every little thing that GOD blesses you with.
