11 Mary was standing outside the tomb crying, and as she wept, she stooped and looked in. 12 She saw two white-robed angels, one sitting at the head and the other at the foot of the place where the body of Jesus had been lying. 13 “Dear woman, why are you crying?” the angels asked her.
“Because they have taken away my Lord,” she replied, “and I don’t know where they have put him.”
14 She turned to leave and saw someone standing there. It was Jesus, but she didn’t recognize him. 15 “Dear woman, why are you crying?”Jesus asked her. “Who are you looking for?” She thought he was the gardener. “Sir,” she said, “if you have taken him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will go and get him.”
16 “Mary!” Jesus said. She turned to him and cried out, “Rabboni!” (which is Hebrew for “Teacher”).

Mary was the woman who was caught in the act commiting adultery and the crowds brought her to Yeshua to see what judgement she deserved. The crowds were about to throw stones at her when Yeshua challenges the crowd that whoever has not sinned should throw the first stones, and they started to leave because all have sinned. She was guilty but GOD didn't judge her right then and there, but instead showed her forgiveness, love and mercy. GOD's grace flowed through her, her heart flowed for love for Yeshua her saviour from condemnation and sin. For since she was forgiven she turned from her sinful ways. She has been following Yeshua ever since that when they crucified Him and left to die, she was one of those deseprate souls seeking for her savior. Crying outside the tomb of Yeshua when she found that His body had dissappeared, she wouldn't stop looking for Him when she thought she lost that one thing that kept her alive. Because she was seeking desperately for GOD, HE revealed Himself to her and she was the first person who saw Him after His death.
