14 And so, dear friends, while you are waiting for these things to happen, make every effort to be found living peaceful lives that are pure and blameless in his sight.
2 Peter 3:11-14
What is the day of the LORD? It is the day when all things hoped for in faith, the promise of the return of Jesus, the coming judgement for all things under heaven, the creation of the new heavens and new earth and every single thing GOD has spoken about in the Bible shall come to pass. Everything GOD has created will be destroyed but why? Because HE wants to make a new begining, so that we can live in a new heaven and a new earth. Some of us are scared for that great day to happen but for some of us, we look forward to that very day when He will undo every wrong that has been done by human failure. If you have an intimate relationship with GOD, then your highest desire is for the day of the LORD to come to pass, because you know that there's nothing else more beautiful in this world than to be with our loving and almighty Creator King.
Do you fear for the world to end? Then you are one of those that have not secured their Spiritual being. Yes we do things to increase certain areas in our lives, we work hard for our wealth, we eat good food for our health, we plan and follow through for our career, we plan to achieve our dreams, we chase our dreams for our success, but only few are those that do things and invest for their Spiritual well being. If you want to have the greatest security any man could ever have other than life insurance. Then seek GOD and follow Him. Do what HE says, love GOD with everything within you, with all your heart, soul and energy. So that while waiting for His great day, you are able to prepare yourself by living a pure and blameless life before HIS eyes. How do we know that we are living a pleasing life before GOD? We will know by our peace. When we do not fear anything at all, we truly understand we are under HIS control and we do not fear how we will die or how the world will end, but will be excited to be with the greatest lover of our souls and Savior of our lives - King Jesus, Yeshua Ha Mashiach.
