All Seeing, Ever Present

1 O Lord, you have examined my heart
and know everything about me.
2 You know when I sit down or stand up.
You know my thoughts even when I’m far away.
3 You see me when I travel
and when I rest at home.
You know everything I do.
4 You know what I am going to say
even before I say it, Lord.
5 You go before me and follow me.
You place your hand of blessing on my head.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too great for me to understand!

- Psalm 139:1-6

There is someone truly watching over each and everyone of us every single moment of our lives. The GOD who made Heaven and Earth and who made each one of us watches over us, never having a blink of sleep. This GOD who watches, watches over us lovingly because HE loves us. HE knows our hearts, our weaknesses, our strengths, our fears, our hopes, HE knows them all. GOD not only wants us to watch over us, passively judging or criticizing our every move or every thought in our hearts. HE is not distant watching us from afar, without feelings or without care. HE wants to interact with us and communicate with us, actively being involved in our lives. Yes this is what HE wants, HE wants to not only part of our lives, HE wants to be the center of it.

HE wants our every thought, every word that comes out of our mouths to be purifiec by HIM. HE is the Almighty and living GOD and HE is the only good in this world. We can bring forth HIS goodness here on earth if we let HIM work through and within us. But we have to surrender our lives to HIM in order for us to be the vessel of HIS love and goodness. If you chose to live for HIM, though imperfect as we are, you will impact this world. If you give your heart and life to HIM, HE will go before you, always preparing the way before you. HE will bless every step that you take and will bless every land that your foot sets on. There are too many things we cannot understand about this GOD of love. The only way to know HIM more is through reading HIS word and communing with HIM daily. Attune your ears to HIS voice, and live for the all seeing One, the ever present GOD.
